Sales Copy For Online Courses
Just because you know the topic of your online course does not mean that you don’t have to know how to write sales copy for online courses.
There are many places in your online course where you’re going to need to use sales copy to promote and sell your online course.
As we all know, you can have the best course in the world, but that means nothing if you can’t sell it.
Part of creating a great online course is to make sure you have a marketing strategy in place for before, during and after you launch your online course. This includes writing out some great sales copy.
Some of the most common places that you’re going to need to use sales copy are on social media, emails, in advertisements, on landing and on the sales page.
Sales Copy Framework
There are many different types of sales copy frameworks that you can use.
Which ones you use will depend on where you are going to be using them.
For a short social media post you may go with the PAS framework.
For a longer sale page you may go with the PASTOR framework.
There are also the Four U’s for headlines and many more.
Sales Page Copywriting
A sales page is there to guide the student through the thought process of why they should buy your online course.
Sales Page length is based on awareness. If you are trying to sell to a cold lead, you will want to use longer form conversion copy.
If you started your sales funnel with a webinar or a mini-course, people are already warmed up to you and your value.
This means you can make your sale page shorter, because people already know what you are selling before they get to your sales page.
